MEET THE TEAM
Robert
Robert started his billiards career in 1989 managing a pool hall in Huntington Beach and from there went on to manage the legendary Best Billiards in Santa Ana where he learned all about custom pool cues and the skills of professional cue repair from some of the top cue makers of all time.
In 1996 he left Best Billiards to start the APA pool league in Orange County and grew it into the largest league in the area. In 2003 he opened Pool Tables 2 U in Rowland Heights with partner Rick Lansberg (from Best Billiards fame) and their second location was opened in Westminster in 2005. In December of 2005, he sold the APA league franchise to focus on the stores. In 2009 the partnership ended and the store name was changed to OC Billiards & More.
Now Robert and his daughter Sonora run the day to day operations of the store as well as their own line of billiard products sold on Amazon and from their website www.bulletprooftips.com
Sonora
Sonora began her billiards journey from the moment she could walk! She was attending tournaments and trade shows with her dad from a young age. She has done everything from running his vending booths at major billiards tournaments in Las Vegas, selling raffle tickets at these events, and has managed OC Billiards now for several years.
Her knowledge of cues, tables, accessories is unsurpassed! She is an expert on pool table service and maintenance including, pool table relocation, cloth repair, restoration, and sales.
